Reviews:

Rick reviewed 'Project Hail Mary', currently in the cinemas as a very joyous film with sad parts. The plot concerned solving a terrible problem for 2 civilizations by science-ing it. He found the adaptation was done well, well-written & with very few gaps in the science & worth full price. Yochanan found it charming, heartfelt & visually stunning - that 'it had smarts and heart' & he loved that it used practical fx. I really enjoyed the adaptation & think it was worth full price. Trey found some of the basic premise dubious but found the movie to be very engaging & visually stunning - pulling you in & carrying you along

Ken reviewed 'The Bardy Bunch' at 3Below as the 'Brady Bunch versus the Partridge Family, set to Shakespeare', running through April 26 - which will also be the last day 3Below will be in operation

Yochanan reviewed 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', an animated musical film about a girl group of singers who fight demons & found it a bit more flash than substance & aimed at a younger audience. It was better than he expected, but still worth only matinee to him

Yochanan also reviewed 'Mercy', seen on Amazon Prime, as a movie wherein Chris Pratt needs to prove his innocence in a 90-minute time-frame & he thought it a bit one-note. He saw it streamed but thought it worth matinee

Lisa reviewed Consonance, a filking & science fiction convention she attended this last weekend. She had a good time. It was full of music, all day, all weekend until late Sunday evening. She had fun and will be there next year.

Kennita reviewed 'Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die' as a time-travel light movie. It was a pretty silly movie to her mind, but still fun to watch and worth matinee. Yochanan followed-on that he found it to be a fun movie & he loved it. Rick commented that it played out well & that Sam Rockwell was brilliant in the role.
