We established a [secret] Marina jar
The minutes of meeting 1277 were accepted as 'Roberts rules of meat products'
The Treasurer reported that last week we took in $13.80 in the regular jar and $36.60 in the [secret] jar
The Vice President left early
The President welcomed Ashley Cox, visiting us for the first time, having moved here last August with Alex
The Sports Committee reported there are still tickets available for the BASFA outing to the Giants/Marlins game, May 8 at 7:15pm; the ticket cost is $23 for view reserve seats in section 319
Announcements:
JC announced that Nerdvana Podcast episode 47, part 3 'from-the-future' will be out on Wednesday & announced that he plans to restart Blue Mirage Studios [http://bluemiragestudio.com/] with an eye towards going full time as a graphics designer with it in 6 months
Ric announced that episode 383 of Fanboy Planet is out & announced that the 'Batkid' event inspired a documentary & announced that Jay Hartlove has a Kickstarter out about C/i/n/d/e/r/e/l/l/a -Snow White!- that is open for a week
Adrienne announced that Mo is in hospital because of pain from muscle damage
Carole announced that Conflikt is in Seattle this weekend & that Con27ilkin will be in England Feb 6-8
Bill announced that Skymall has declared bankruptcy & that bacon jerky is a thing
Lynn announced that Diana Coygan's [sp?] car was totalled & thatEric P Scott died last week & she has contact info for his folks

Ric reviewed that Lindsey Stirling did a version of the Star Wars theme [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZIFGsZsVjE] & it's wonderful & reviewed Amazon's pilot for 'Salem Rogers, Model of the Year' [http://studios.amazon.com/projects/18517] as a really bad trainwreck of a show & reviewed the Windows 10 product announcement as astonishing
JC reviewed 'Divergent' as he really enjoed it & reviewed the 2nd half of season 1 of the 'The Flash' as excellent & recommends it
Adrienne reviewed 'Changing Boundaries', a documentary about early SJ history as the earlier history was more interesting & she reviewed 'Birdman' as beautifully done but she really didn't enjoy it
'Selma' was variously reviewed as innacurate & sanitized
Bill reviewed Aresia in Boston as 'half a Worldcon' & overall they had a great time & Carole reviewed the Masquerade as she thought the enterants were very nice
Beth reviewed 'American Sniper' as very emotional and recommended & JC recommends you bring tissues to it
Dave C reviewed the Mythbusters Indiana Jones episode as he saw it & felt nostalgic
we birthday auctioned off Ashley Cox for $4
