[tall] Kevin announced that SG Match Game is a casualty of Puppygate & will not be at Worldcon this year, however he was *informed* that there will be 3 Match Game SFs at this year's San Diego Westercon & he needs questions for the games & he announced that he may be recording a set of 'safety how-to messages' for the Worldcon Business Meeting, most likely at Westercon & announced that his sister is breathing on her own again
Reviews:
'Age of Ultron' was exhaustively reviewed as a good, enjoyable movie, albeit with a few flaws - with a safety advisory that if you see it in IMAX don't sit at the very top or in the 1st 2 rows
Mo reviewed 'Ancillary Sword' by Leckie as it was well-written & impells the reader forward
Ric reviewed getting Sihlouette glasses as it came with 3 magnetic clipons & the 3D clipon gives a very good image & he reviewed the new GE Link Lights as costing about $15 and for a white LED bulb this is a very good price
Beht reviewed SLG's owner as he donated the left-over comics from Free Comic Book day to her school & she got a chance to see New Kids on the Block & it was great fun
Dave C commented that a music site called 'Groove Shark' has gone out of business
we did auctions
we adjourned at 9:32
and the rumor of the week was: 'All men may have been created equally but that doesn;'t mean they should all take off their shirts'
