Began at 8:03 pm - with envelopes!

we established a piratacy jar
The minutes of meeting 1373 were accepted as 'the worst impression of Barbara, ever'
The Treasurer reported that last week we took in $10.05 in the regular jar - and $4.00 in the piratacy jar
The Vice President had nothing fannish to report
The President had nothing fannish to report
The Sports Committee reported that he is investigating ticket prices for both baseball and hockey
Announcements:
Ken announced that tickets are now on sale for 'Rogue One' & announced that a Psychotronic Film Festival will be held at Foothill College on Saturday
Fred announced that Delia Derbyshire is having a lane named after her in Coventry
Andy announced that he & [evil] Kevin are fan GoHs at Loscon next year
Adrienne announced that SMOFcon is this weekend
John O announced that Ron Glass died
Reviews:
Loscon was positively reviewed, even though most party decorations were very much along the lines of 'drunken binge' style
Bill reviewed a book of short stories bought at BASFA auction as worth what he paid for it
[evil] Kevin reviewed the Turkey Trot as 38 degrees when he started & he did a personal best & still worth full price & reviewed TV party games as not bad
Gerry reviewed Orycon as he was on lots of panels and had a great time, then reviewed the M drive as promising
Mo reviewed the 'Ghostbusters' remake as she enjoyed it & thought it worth full price, then reviewed 'Suicide Squad' as disappointing on many levels & reviewed HBO's "Westworld' as worth following
Lisa reviewed Steven Universe, an animated show, as having lots of in-jokes & worth watching
we did auctions
we adjourned at 8:57 pm
and the rumor of the week was: 'You're putting on 16 mm shorts in THIS weather?'
