The Minutes of meeting #1469 were posted online prior to the meeting and were accepted as: Sanitized for your protection.
We auctioned off a pair of Kevins…
The Treasurer did not have his records from last week, but we have money…
The Vice-President had nothing fannish to report.
The President was MIA with the Secretary.
Sports Committee
Sharks tickets are now sold out. Distribution will happen soon.

Gayle She was at the Milpitas Library and saw that on Tuesday, October 30 at 7 pm, at the Great Mall Cinemark Theatres, the Milpitas Monster will be showing. Milpitas Historical Society is selling tickets. milpitasmonster.com
DaveC Looking for new cons to deal at and found fancons.com. Looked at first half of 2019 to see what cons he could go to. Quite comprehensive. Check it out.
Looking to find someone familiar with Mile-high con (milehicon.org). Has been recommended to him. It’s at the same hotel that Westercon was. Wants to know what expectations the con has.
DJ October 11-14 is the San Jose International Film Festival at the CineArts Theatre at Santana Row. Her film/video production class is volunteering to help out.
Vikas This Wednesday at 7pm at the Smithwick theatre at Foothill College, SETI will be talking about colliding galaxies.
Ken New Doctor Who this Sunday. Simulcast on BBC1 and BBCAmerica - 18:45BST, 13:45EDT, 10:45PDT Also in Cinemas on the 10th and 11th from Fathom Events (fathomevents.com/events/doctor-who-1)
Gerald On October 6 SpaceX will have another launch, and will attempt a ground landing of the booster!

Lisa Last Wednesday she went to Astronomy On Tap with other BASFAns, at Uproar Brewing. Uproar had good fresh beers and food. Great fun was had. The talks are always interesting, and her group almost won the trivia contest. Happens the last Wednesday of every other month. Find them on FaceBook.
Vikas: This was the first Astronomy On Tap he helped to organize. There’s also a meetup group. Five BASFAns came to this one, hopefully more next time!
JohnO He and Chris spent last week at Disneyland. Ran themselves ragged, and had fun. Late September is a good time to go - weather and crowds were manageable. Went to Halloween party - with people in onesies to store bought to homemade costumes. Lots of candy on the Trick-or-Treat. Expensive, but worth it. Stayed at the Anaheim Marriott. Service at the hotel was great. 20,000± steps/day for 3 days, and his knee survived…
