Called to order at 20:00 with 12 people in attendance.
A party jar was established
The Minutes of meeting #1475 were posted online prior to the meeting and were accepted as: Post-tosties
Treasurer Report #1474 Regular $2.50 Party $10.42
#1475 Regular $24.75 Party $2.00
Total Regular $~15k Party $124.69 (PawCon pending)
The Vice President had nothing fannish to report.
The President was MIA with the Secretary
Committee Reports
Party Next party will be at FurtherConfusion, January 17-21. Either Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun
PawCon party went well. Next to the BlackHole. Hope to do it again.

Bill There’s a convention over Thanksgiving weekend: LosCon, they will be there. loscon.org
Douglas Rain - the voice of HAL9000 - passed away at 90
Stan Lee passed away at 95
Jerry Dance-along Nutcracker is in December. She’s part of the cast this year! sflgfb.townalive.com/season-events/2018-dance-along-nutcracker/
Reviews
Carole Went to PawCon. Their registration system left a lot to be desired - it had bugs. Not worth a whole weekend membership. May have had too little programming (1 or 2 per day?) Not really her crowd. Probably needs a bigger hotel.
Bill: Went as well. Had good conversations on Friday. Probably not going back. Worth having checked it out.
Atheus: Had more programming than last year, but only really on Saturday. It’s a party floor convention. Increase in members over last year from 550 to 740. Worth Saturday membership.
Bill Discovered new restaurants at the Matrix plaza. New Indian counter service restaurant. Incredible job with their food. Worth a look.
Went to the Sharks Star War night game. Had a great time. Interesting seats. BASFA outing.
Carole: Exciting game, worth full price.
Ken Saw the Palo Alto Players production of All The Way. Well done, highly recommend. It’s the story of LBJ’s accidental presidency, from being sworn in up to winning his own election. paplayers.org
We had an auction
