Jerry She’s performing in the Dance-Along Nutcracker this weekend in at the Yerba Buena Gardens Center for the Performing Arts in San Francisco. This year is Harry Potter themed - Clara Potter and the Elder Baton! sflgfb.townalive.com/season-events/2018-dance-along-nutcracker/
Beth & JC K is now a legal adult as of 12/1, DJ will be in 6 weeks.
Debbie She is now the City Clerk for the city of Saratoga. Terrified & Excited. More responsibility, work and (yay) pay! She still can’t do marriages, as Saratoga doesn’t do them.
She’s a year older too.
Gearld Russian manned space program took three cosmonauts to the International Space Station.
SpaceX put 64 small satellites up this weekend. The booster landed on the drone ship (3rd mission for this booster). Done from the west coast. 19th launch this year for SpaceX
JohnO: Most of the satellites were small 2”sq cubes from HS and College classes.
DaveC Christopher J. Garcia wishes to hold ConJose2.
Ken He and Jerry won’t be here next Monday (12/10).
Ric On Wednesday, December 12 Fanboy Planet will have live show/holiday party at 7Stars at 7pm. Come on by. Watch on FB.
At Smofcon it was announced that evilKevin will be running the Masquerade at the Dublin Worldcon in 2019.

JC Saw RalphWrecks the Internet. Cute. Good for a sequel. Plausible reasons for the characters to go out on the WWW. Good, not better than first. No pillows from Beth. Go see it (especially if you’re a fan of the first film.)
Harold: Sit through the credits. Lots of fun icons, and a cookie at then end.
ChrisO: Liked the Disney Princess.
Went to Heroes & Villains/Walker Stalker con. Felt twitchy going back to the McEnery so soon after Worldcon. It was 60-70% horror in the Dealers room. Lots of Autographs. Took about an hour to walk around the dealers room. Went to the Stephen Amell panel. Girl with a Davros wheelchair. Lots of cool mashup - Freddie Mercury Kruger, was the best. The Fast Food Avengers were there.
Beth: got Stephen Amell’s autograph, and hung out at wine party with him.
JohnO: Also went. Felt smaller. Went to a couple panels (Stephen Amell and a Walking Dead one…) Cosplay contest (Bob’s Burger family costume, and a Snow White-trash). Followed up with a visit to 7Stars for dinner.
JohnO Kindle Self Published: Witches Bites series by Stephanie Foxe. Read first two books (there’s four now) Urban fantasy. Short, entertaining, not deep. Fun ride. Recommend. Witches, Vampires, Werewolves (oh my!) amazon.com/Stephanie-Foxe/e/B075XRPSMB/ref=dp_byline_cont_book_1
Gayle Listened to Terry Gross’ interview with Bohemian Rhapsody star. Interesting, go listen npr.org/programs/fresh-air/2018/11/21/669706989/fresh-air-for-nov-21-2018-bohemian-rhapsody-star-rami-malek
Ric Went to Smofcon. Enjoyed it. Hung out with people who are normally working cons. Was in Santa Rosa. Liked the town. Flamingo Hotel was walking distance from several restaurants. The Peanuts museum is in town (lots of Charlie Brown stuff around). evilKevin was interviewed. Nice relaxing positive con. Played Jackbox in the evening, and drank.
Lisa: Was there as well. Great fun. Dinner mixers, topic discussion at restaurants. Enjoyable. Real jelly doughnuts for Chanukah. Interesting panels and information.
DaveC: Also there. Enjoyed panels. His team was traunced in the If I Ran the Zoo Game. Worth full price.
Catching up on Walking Dead. Andrew Lincoln’s last episodes. If you’ve stopped for a while, have a look at this season. Talking Dead announced 3 Walking Dead related movies.
Lisa Went to Loscon. Smaller than before. Successful Harold Memorial Party. Likes the con, hopes for better publicity to attract members.
DaveC: Also at Los Con, as a dealer. Sales were alright. Next year’s chair is already publicizing 2019! loscon.org/46/
