Called to order at 8 pm - with verve!

We established a party jar
The minutes of meeting 1528 were accepted as 'convalescing'
the Treasurer reported that last week we took in $0 in the regular jar & $2.90 in the party jar
the VP will not be here next week & he had nothing fannish to report
the President said nice things [about the secretary], but had nothing fannish to report
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Ken announced that this weekend will be busy - on Friday, at 3 Below 'Who's Holiday' opens; then in SF at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts 'Dance Along Nutcracker - in Space' will be held at 3pm & 7pm on Sat & 11am & 3pm on Sun; he also announced that the Psychotronic Film Festival will be held at Foothill College at 7pm, Saturday night to benefit KFJC, $5 at the door & $3 for parking & then announced that 'Spyfall', the new Dr Who releases on New Year's day
John O announced that the filmed 'Cats' & 'SW9 - Legend of Skywalker' both open on the same day
Jon R announced that Dickens Faire is open at the [Daly City] Cow Palace [https://dickensfair.com/] & announced that the US Census is actively hiring people right now & he has contact info for them
REVIEWS:
Andy reviewed 'Evil' as 'X Files via the Catholic Church' & disturbingly creepy religious horror mysteries - not as good as X Files, but still good & he reviewed 'The Order', summed up, as 'werewolves versus douchebags' - not a good ending, but still recommended
John O reviewed 'Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood' as it can be a tear-jerker & highly recommends it & reviewed 'Malificent 2' as a lot of fun, even on a second viewing & reviewed 'Frozen 2' as it might be better than the first & also highly recommended - Chris O liked it much more than the original
Jon reviewed Dickens Faire as nice, even educational, kid friendly & he recommends it - & he warns that the parking lots requires cash; Gayle has been there before & enjoyed it
