REVIEWS:
Stephen was at an industry convention in NYC & saw 'Beetlejuice' on Broadway & thought it was terrific, with great set design & the plot was focused more on Bettlejuice's character, but he did not appreciate that 2 drinks there cost $50
Ken reviewed taking a road trip with Geri when they went to Phoenix and back as they stopped at many places that all sounded nice & the wedding of his eldest nephew was was enjoyable, overall a terrific trip
John O reviewed 'Dolittle' as having no relation to the book or prior movie, but was still fun, worth full price but probably not 3D, reviewed 'Knives Out' as a fun little mystery, JC followed & agreed, then John reviewed Seanan McGuire's book 5 in the Wandering Children series = 'Come Tumbling Down' as a good read & pointed out that "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' is a 2-part play performed on 2 different stages
Valerie reviewed 'Avenue 5' - the Hugh Laurie as captain of a space cruise - as lots of establishing facts this episode & the passengers were the best worst people to be trapped on one with & reviewed the latest episode of Dr Who as done well
Lisa reviewed FurCon as the theme was cyberstuff, the science panels were good, other panels were weaker, that the art show & dealers had lots of sketch art & the con was kind of disappointing
we did auctions
we adjourned at 8:48
Rumor of the week was 'We can hate the pun but love the punner'
