REVIEWS:
Andy reviewed watching the full season of 'October Faction' on Netflix as all of it was very well done; reviewed 'ST: Picard' as continuing to be good and confusing & reviewed the Netflix adaptation of the graphic novel 'Locke & Key' as creepy & done well & reviewed the latest episode of Dr Who as creepy dark horror - highly recommended
Dave Wallace reviewed 2 books - 'The Testaments' by Margaret Atwood as very interesting, gripping & it raises good questions & then reviewed Sarah Gailey's 'Magic for Lies' as a 'must read', very layered, well written & highly recommended
Carole reviewed her new serger as it did not work
Bill commented that they have been doing a lot of travelling & reviewed Aspen, Colorado as 'a town for people with too much disposable cash' - but the wedding they went to was chilly - held outdoors at dusk, but the ceremony was thankfully short & it was a good visit & reviewed Seattle's Conflikt as he had a good time
John O reviewed the Oscar show as enjoyable & reviewed Alamo Draft House in SF as comfortable & pleasant & reviewed 'Birds of Prey' as Margot Robbie has made the role her own, that the movie is a bit of a hot mess, highly entertaining in a shut off your brain sort of way & reviewed a sing-a-long of 'Cats' as fun
we did auctions
we adjourned at 8:49
Rumor of the week was 'The auction was won with 4 of a kind & an ace kicker'
