REVIEWS:
Lisa reviewed going to the virtual Nasfic as they did a very interesting job of using Zoom and Vimeo & Discord, but there were problems with the feed & getting questions in, but it was mostly good, except it was working on East Coast time & the panels she DID see were excellent - & Valerie were on some of those panels - she regrets not being able to go to an actual Dealers Room to spend her money & that online doesn't take the place of being there
There were follow-ons = Valerie reviewed Nasfic as she was on 7 panels and was virtually running around like crazy & she enjoyed it & it was a fun con
Marcia liked the Vimeo interface & the best closed-captioning she has ever seen
Craig commented that some connection issues could be a bandwidth issue

John O reviewed 'Ice Age - Collision Course' as very silly & mostly about the characters interacting - not worth full price, but worth picking up online to kill an hour & a half

Howeird reviewed season one of 'Hanna' on Amazon as way, way more violent than it needs to be & that it now has a season 2 out
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6932244/?ref_=hm_stp_pvs_piv_tt_18

Fred reviewed an article as having some good ideas & worth checking out
https://www.forbes.com/sites/bradtempleton/2020/08/20/time-for-all-our-virtual-meeting-tools-to-interoperate/#62ee905c366c

Craig & Marcia reviewed episode one of 'Businessmen versus Aliens' as kind of funny & an interesting premise & they will look for episode 2
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5989844/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Dave reviewed 'Lovecraft Country' on HBO as an interesting take on racism in the 1950s & very well done & he is looking forward to episode 2

we adjourned at 8:37 pm

Rumor of the week was = 'Who requested that the Bay Area be a smoking section?'
