The minutes of meeting 1567 were accepted as: Lovingly bathed by cats.
Treasurer. Not present, but same as last week?
Vice President: Nothing Fannish to report.
President: Not present.
No committees reporting.
No new business.
Announcements:
DaveW = Glad to be back. Was busy all through August, and never had the link for the current meetings.
Ken: Apologies. I had sent the link out at the beginning of the month, but from the wrong account – so it didn’t go through.
Gerald = spaceflightnow.com shows all launches are TBD from the Greek storms.
Duncan: Falcon9 block 5 scheduled for the 25th.
Duncan = A front runner for supreme court is from the group that was the basis for the Handmaid’s Tale.

JohnO = Watched a couple of films:
Selma. MLK and John Lewis. Excellent. Highly recommend.
DaveW. Seconds Selma.
Gayle. (tangent) A lot of planning for the bus boycott, and meticulous planning for the I Have a Dream speech.
Duncan. RBG was the first woman to be laid in state, Rosa was laid in honor.
Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey. Reminded why saw Excellent Adventure many times, but this one only once.
Ken: Bogus has it’s place, and can be useful before viewing Face the Music.
Lisa: Skiffy has been showing them.
Rumor of the Week: Quarantine will continue until we finally wear our masks
