Lisa reviewed the Ohio Valley filk festival as online, main performances on Zoom, quite entertaining and 'a good time was had by all'
John O reviewed being one-third into a novelette 'Masquerade in Lodi' by Lois McMaster Bujold, as mostly being a filler book so far, technically it's book 4 in the series of Penric & Desdemona; then also reviewed the rest of the 1st season of Star Trek 'Lower Decks', saying the characters got fleshed out and the series is referencing all manner of Star Trek trivia - and there were various follow-ons
Gerry reviewed the novelette, 'Ronni and Rod' by David Gerrold and Ctein, as 'a tidal wave hits California' & is part of an upcoming novel, appearing in Asimov's May-June 2020 as pretty well done & it moves along quickly
Dave G reviewed a double IPA with 8.9% alcohol from the Laughing Monk brewery, 'Justice Ruth', as pleasant and a somewhat bitter

we adjourned at 8:38 pm
and the rumor of the week = 'Star trek lower decks: a menage a Troi?'
